KLAW LNG delivers LNG bunkering transfer system to Engie
A KLAW LNG transfer bunkering system is being installed on the newly constructed Engie Zeebrugge. The vessel will have the capacity of 5000m3 and will bunker vessels at the port of Zeebrugge in Belgium. The project presented particular engineering challenges unique to LNG bunkering and the resulting system developed by KLAW LNG provides both impressive solutions and strong direction for the LNG bunkering sector.
The vessel is under construction in South Korea and the project is a collaboration between Engie, Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line), Mitsubishi and Fluxys.
This is yet another demonstration of KLAW LNG innovation which also delivered the world’s first commercial ship-to-ship LNG transfer system back in 2006.
